Naga Chaitanya’s disaster film is out of the theatres..

Naga Chaitanya starrer ‘Custody’ was finally released last week amidst decent expectations but ended up getting poor reviews from Day 1. The Telugu, Tamil bilingual film directed by Venkat Prabhu of ‘Maanaadu’ fame highly disappointed the audience and emerged as another biggest disaster in Naga Chaitanya’s career after ‘Thank You’. On a sad note, the movie is now being taken off the theatres. It is unfortunate that its ‘Custody’ is going off the theatres within the 1st week itself. Most of the popular theatres have already replaced the movie as we have a bunch of other new releases.
Though the action sequences and the main plot of the film impressed many, the dull narration and boring sequences became the driving factors behind the movie’s failure. Naga Chaitanya’s Custody is now all set to become the biggest disaster of his career. The film featured Arvind Swami, Sarath Kumar, Krithi Shetty, Priyamani, Premji, Vennela Kishore, Sampath Raj, and Ramki in crucial roles. Srinivasa Chitturi under the Srinivasaa Silver Screen banner bankrolled this project. Maestro Ilayaraja and Yuvan Shankar Raja scored tunes for the flick.
