Silambarasan TR’s upcoming movie, tentatively titled, STR 48 is all set to begin shooting soon. The Desingh Periyasamy directorial is being produced by Kamal Haasan’s Raaj Kamal Films International (RKFI).
On Monday, the team of STR 48 shared the update on Turmeric Media’s official Twitter handle. The movie is said to be the biggest epic action movie in India and is all set for preproduction.
In the post shared, Simbu can be seen along with Kamal Haasan and Director Desingh Periyasamy. The caption ‘The #BLOODandBATTLE begins’ was posted alongside the photos. Reportedly, Silambarasan TR is undergoing a big transformation for this movie in London.

Allegedly, Deepika Padukone and Keerthy Suresh are being considered for the leading lady. According to some reports, Kamal Haasan himself will have a cameo in the much-awaited flick.
Silambarasan was last seen in the Obeli N Krishna directorial Pathu Thala. He starred alongside Gautham Karthik and Priya Bhavani Shankar in the film. The film opened to mixed reviews and is now available for streaming on Prime Video.
