Akhil Akkineni’s much-anticipated film Agent was released in theatres on April 28. The film, which has Malayalam superstar Mammootty in a prominent role, is slogging at the box office. The movie, which opened to a lukewarm response in theatres, witnessed low collections.
Now, as per the speculations in the film industry Akkineni Akhil’s next movie might be with Anil Kumar, assistant director of Saaho. It is also heard that the screen test shoot took place yesterday. More details will be out soon.
The more interesting rumor about the film is that Janhvi Kapoor, who will be seen next in NTR 30, is likely to romance Akhil in his next. However, there has been no official announcement regarding this yet.
Coming back to Agent, directed by Surender Reddy, the story of Agent is penned by Vakkantham Vamsi. Surender Reddy and Vakkantham Vamsi had earlier worked in films such as Kick and Race Gurram. Agent stars Akhil Akkineni, Mammootty, Dino Morea, Sakshi Vaidya, and Vikramjeet Virk.
