Bhediya starring Varun Dhawan and Kriti Sanon released back in 2022. This horror-comedy was written by Niren Bhatt and was directed by Amar Kaushik. The film made it to the box office but according to the team, they expected the film to do much better. Usually, the films that get released in the theatres often stream on OTT platforms after 6-8 weeks of the theatrical release. Bhediya is finally going to make its digital premiere soon.
The film features Varun Dhawan,Kriti Sanon ,Deepak Dobriyal, Abhishek Banerjee,Saurabh Shukla,Baharul Islam ,Paalin Kabak, Dosam Beyong. Bhediya was filmed with a budget of 60 crores but made around 89.97 crores. Varun and Kriti were also reported to have neen shooting for the sequel for quite some time now. They have been working for 6 months reported the sources.
The film will be out on 26th May on Jio Cinema, Jio has recently emerged as one of the top OTT partners and platforms in India and also has 100 more projects lined up to stream on the application. Bhediya 2 will is reported to be the sequel of Stree 2 and will follow the plot of the film and is set to release in 2024.
