Sallu Bhai continued with his tour across India to put a fullstop to his half-done Da-Bangg The Tour Reloaded. He landed in East Bengal, Kolkata to give a live club performance which became an extended trip to West Bengal in the light of CM Mamta Banerjee.
He was scheduled to perform on May 13 before which, at 4pm, he arrived at the CM’s house. Many Bengali fans gathered at the venue to get a glimpse of the great Salman Khan and the CM Mamta Banerjee. She came out and welcomed her guest warmly with a shawl.
ANI’s official Twitter page posted a 40-second clip of Salman getting down from the car and Mamta Ji waiting for him at her gate. Shortly after, they both disappear into the distance as they proceed to go inside.
For the unversed, Salman Khan is the son of a famous Bollywood superhit cabaret dancer, Helen Khan. Known for her mesmerizing dance moves, she’s also given birth to a son who’s today known as Bhaijaan in the Bollywood film industry. From Hum DIl De Chuke Sanam to Kisi Ka Bhai Kisi Ki Jaan, Sallu Bhai has been winning over Bollywood for more than 35 years and he still hasn’t stopped.
About Mamta Banerjee, she is the 8th Chief Minister of West Bengal since 2011. Ruling and beautifying the West for 12 years now, she’s addressed as ‘Didi’ by people who respect and value her contribution as a government official. She is also the first woman to service twice as Minister of Railways.
To see two great personalities in a single frame is truly heartwarming and the crowd surrounding them is proof that they enjoy witnessing it too!
