Barbie Ferreira, who portrayed Kat Hernandez in the popular HBO series Euphoria, recently talked openly about leaving the project. Barbie announced her departure from the Sam Levinson programme in June of last year, for the uninitiated. After a disagreement with Levison over the course that her character Kat was taking, there were soon rumours that the actress had decided to leave the series. According to rumours, Kat’s character was diminished in season 2. In one of these rumours, Barbie was even said to have left the scene after an alleged argument with Sam Levinson. She has now addressed the rumours.
On a recent podcast appearance, Barbie Ferreira addressed the rumours surrounding her departure from the Zendaya-starring movie Euphoria. Actually, Ferreira denied leaving the set. I once had to have an X-ray after spraining my ankle. Maybe they mean it that way? She went on to say that she no longer wished to play the role of the “fat best friend.” Ferreira remarked, “I don’t think there was anywhere for [Kat] to go. She concluded by saying that she doesn’t believe Sam is related to her position in the series. Sam writes on topics that are close to his heart. He’s not related to Kat, in my opinion. I got to choose my own course since I enjoy Kat. I initially thought, “Oh my God, I’m a failure.” I am a failure. It has actually been beneficial.
