Balakrishna won but Chiru failed ; here’s why

The teaser of Megastar Chiranjeevi’s new movie ‘Bhola Shankar’ was released yesterday amid much fanfare. There was a mixed response from the audience regarding this teaser. While few commented that the trailer promised a good mass film, most of the fans were disappointed saying that there is nothing special in the film as the teaser looks utterly routine.

Apparently, there is nothing new to say in the teaser. Every shot looked like it was seen somewhere and the dialogue also seemed very monotonous. ‘Bhola Shankar’ looked like a movie that followed the format of an average mass movie.

Mainly, after the release of the teaser, many people are raising objections about the Chiranjeevi dialogues delivery. A complaint is that the dialogues are very routine and mainly Chiranjeevi Telangana slang dialogue delivery seems bad.

After the formation of Telangana as a separate state, the use of Telangana slang in Telugu movies has increased. More movies are coming with Telangana nativity. Also, star heroes are desperate to use Telangana slang in their films. Recently, Nandamuri Balakrishna in the ‘Bhagwant Kesari’ teaser also followed the same. However, while Balayya was speaking the dialogues in that dialect, it seemed okay, but it seems that the slang is not set for Chiru. Chiru’s dialogue delivery lacks natural flow.

Conversations seemed to be stretching and Chiru totally failed in delivering the Telangana dialect. Even fans are of the opinion that his slang and dialogue delivery is not good. There are opinions that Mehar Ramesh should have pulled that character with normal slang or with an Uttarandhra accent that is good for Chiru.
