With Netflix releasing the first full trailer for the upcoming live-action Avatar: The Last Airbender series, The trailer shows many iconic images of Aang, Zuko, Appa and the rest that fans will recognize from the beloved animated series, but it also includes several fundamental changes, including brand new scenes of significant moments we never got to see in the original.
Burdened with saving the rest of the world from the tyrannical Fire Nation leader Ozai, Aang must accept his shortcomings and destiny if he wishes to succeed. While Fire Lord Ozai has his son Zuko (Dallas Liu) and a highly trained army, Aang has his friends and powers. And it is enough to save the world.
The trailer also shows the intense loyalty and bond shared by Southern Water Tribe siblings Katara (Kiawentiio) and Sokka (Ian Ousley) with Aang as they help and support him on his journey. Especially the fights of Aang (Gordon Cormier), Fire Lord Ozai (Daniel Dae Kim), and June (Arden Cho).
