Thalapathy Vijay is currently busy with his film Leo being directed by Lokesh Kanagaraj. The film’s promo released a few days back created a sensation across the nation.
Now an interesting buzz is that the actor is all set for his 68th film as well after Leo. It is heard that the director is going to team up with filmmaker Atlee for the fourth time after Bigil, Mersal and Theri. Also it is heard that the film will be produced under the Sun Pictures banner. Vijay is said to have already approved the script. The producers, too, liked the core idea.
A trustable source wrote,“Atlee has got the idea okay’ed from Thalapathy Vijay and also the producers. He will work towards locking the screenplay soon as the idea is to take the film on floors from September/October this year. The film will be Atlee’s next directorial after Jawan, which is present on the floors. While the idea is green lit, the paperwork will happen only after the release of Jawan”
Meanwhile, Vijay’s Leo is set to hit the screens on October 19. It is said to be a part of the Lokesh Cinematic Universe.
