Atlee’s recent directorial action film, Jawan, received critical acclaim for his brilliance as a director from critics who praised its cast performances, screenwriting, action sequences, and musical score. The high-octane action film was made with an estimated budget of Rs 300 crore and collected more than Rs 1,148.32 crore, making it the highest-grossing film of 2023 and the fifth-highest-grossing Indian film of all time. He is top bankable director in the country.
Anirudh will compose the music for the film, which Sun Pictures will produce. On Allu Arjun’s birthday, a formal statement is anticipated, according to sources.
