James Wan’s sequel to his Jason Mamoa starring hit is the ninth and final DCEU movie to gross less than $400 million in the history of the DC universe. However, Aquaman is the only DC movie earning the highest last year, wrapping its theatrical run at 393 million dollars.
Aquaman 2 is a direct sequel to Aquaman, released in 2018. The movie went on to become the highest-earning DC standalone flick with a billion-dollar business back in 2018. This is the most difficult question for almost everyone involved with the franchise. The new dawn at DCU does not mention Aquaman in the confirmed lineup, with the chances of the bare minimum.
