Lady Superstar Nayanthara is coming up with her film Annapoorani: The Goddess Of Food, which is all set to hit the screens. The trailer received a warm talk with Nayanthara, a young woman from a Brahmin family who aspires to become a chef.
She keeps her passion a secret after knowing her dream requires her to cook meat, which is forbidden in her family. After her cooking session is disclosed due to an accident, she competes in one of the biggest cooking challenges inspired by Sathyaraj and Jai.
Annapoorani is set in Srirangam and traverses to other places along with the lead character’s journey. This is also the first time Nayanthara is seen playing as a chef in her career.
Annapoorani stars Nayanthara, Jai, Sathyaraj, Renuka, Achyuth Kumar, and Kumari Sachu, among others. The film, bankrolled by Zee Studios, is gearing up for December 1 release. The digital and satellite partners are yet to be announced.
