Filmfare Awards 2024 saw Vidhu Vinod Chopra’s 12th Fail and Sandeep Reddy Vanga’s Animal turning out to be the night’s big winners. However, the highlight of the awards show was Ranbir Kapoor’s electrifying dance performance after years.
Ranbir Kapoor and Alia Bhatt’s dance stole the spotlight at the 69th Filmfare Awards, grooving to Animal’s Jamal Kudu track. Ranbir, in a white blazer, kissed Alia during the performance, creating a heartwarming moment that’s now melting hearts on social media.
He entered the arena in his ‘Animal’ avatar while driving a clone of Animal’s machine pistol. If that wasn’t enough, Ranbir also performed a rendition of Bobby Deol’s well-known song ‘Jamal Kudu’ from Sandeep Reddy Vanga’s directorial. His rendition of the ‘Jamal Kudu’ hook step with his audience-seated wife Alia Bhatt was the high point of his show.
Ranbir Kapoor spoke briefly to the media about his chances of winning the award and said, “I know my lady (Alia Bhatt) is coming. I’ll take her home today, but I don’t know about the black lady (award trophy) and thanked the government of Gujarat for making such great preparations.
