Anil Kapoor: My wife will beat me up. Here’s why

Anil Kapoor, who has been performing in Bollywood for the past 40 years, may not feel the same pressure while selecting scripts as he did when he was younger. That does not, however, allow him to make rash decisions. He was questioned if he still considers issues like fans, image, and box office when choosing a script in an interview with Film Companion.

I can’t be so hasty, Anil Kapoor said in response. Depending on how much you think and how little you think… Consider both the positives and negatives. I am not able to do everything at once. It ought to work for me as well. In a career spanning decades, Anil had a reputation for playing good characters, but most recently he played an edgy antagonist in The Night Manager.

Anil responded, when asked if he considers everything, even while writing screenplays he likes, “If I like it, but if it is going to hurt a lot of people, I will think. I am not allowed to say, “It’s okay if you are upset.” I am unable to carry out that action. It depends on the filmmaker—does he know what he’s attempting to accomplish? Does he grasp the complexity of the characters? You should use caution when choosing your coworkers because you occasionally risk being duped. I must use caution. Even now, I lack this freedom. There is an obligation. My wife is going to hit me. There are children, friends, and other individuals to consider.
