Shakira is facing more tax trouble in Spain….
Hollywood famous actress and American pop singer Shakira was accused of tax evasion in Spain by the prosecutors for a whooping amount of 6.7 Euros ( $7.1 million) in tax on her 2018 income.
According to ‘The Associated Press,’ the singer is being charged after prosecutors in Barcelona accused her of failing to pay $7.1 million in taxes on income she earned in 2018. Authorities in Spain claim the Colombian singer used an offshore company to avoid paying taxes. This is the second time a Spanish court has brought forward tax evasion charges against Shakira, who is scheduled to be tried in Barcelona in November in a separate case.
It is reported that American pop singer Shakira ex’s family is trying to destroy Shakira’s image by releasing this information in Spain. Piqué’s family is persecuting Shakira because of her music!! She didn’t pay in Spain because she didn’t live there as she spends her time in the US and pays taxes here.
Spain’s law says you should pay taxes there if you spend more than 183 days living or / working there a calendar year. Shakira had a house there but spent only a hundred-something days there because she worked in the US.
