We all know about SJ Suryah making his OTT debut with the Amazon Prime Video series Vadhandhi. The platform has announced that the show will premiere on December 2. The series will available in Tamil, Malayalam, Telugu, Kannada, and Hindi versions.
Touted to be a thriller, the series marks the debut of one of top most director and actor of down south SJ Suryah. He currently has nearly 6 films in different languages in his pipeline.
The streamer announces the official release date of its original Amazon series Vadhandhi from its social handle and wrote ” lies, rumors, deceit, a story so gripping it will have you on the edge of your seat. #VadhandhiOnPrime, new series, Dec 2.”
The series is helmed by Andrew Louis who previously delivered the films ‘Leelai’ and ‘Kolaigaran’. As per makers the series will be, “a dramatic noir thriller about the murder of a beautiful young girl, seen from the perspectives of an unrelenting obsessed cop, a novelist captivated by her grace, and an opportunistic news editor.”
Vadhandhi also features Laila, Sanjana, Nasser, Vivek Prasanna, Smruthi Venkat and Kumaran in key characters. Pushkar Gayatri has teamed again with Amazon Prime after their huge success of Suzhal – The Vortex, and produced this new series under the banner of Wallwatcher Films.
