Makers of the upcoming film ‘Amar Singh Chamkila’ starring Diljit Dosanjh and Parineeti Chopra, are all set to unveil the film’s first track. Recently, the film’s makers announced the film’s official release date. ‘Amar Singh Chamkila’ presents the untold true story of Punjab’s original rockstar of the masses.
Just a day after the premiere date of Chamkila was announced, the makers built up the excitement by announcing the first song from the film. Actor Diljit Dosanjh unveils the first look poster for the maiden track to be released from the biopic Amar Singh Chamkila, titled Ishq Mitaye.
Speaking of the song’s soundtrack, Mohit Chauhan sings it after a very long break with AR Rahman and Imtiaz Ali. While sharing the announcement, they captioned it in Hindi, loosely saying, “It’s coming with a very different style and quite a colourful mood.”
The highest-selling artist of his time, Chamkila is still regarded as one of the best live-stage performers that Punjab has ever produced. Helmed by Imtiaz Ali and starring Parineeti Chopra in the lead roles, the film will be released on Netflix on 12th April.
