Alia Bhatt can be considered as one of the established actresses in Indian Cinema. The actress has achieved something that most of people couldn’t in their 30s. Besides being a versatile actress, she is also a film producer and an entrepreneur.
Alia Bhatt has won the National Award for Best Actress for her stellar performance in Gangubai Kathiawadi. The RRR actress shared that her first thought after receiving the news was what to wear and where the event was and then the first idea she got was to re-wear her wedding saree.
Alia Bhatt shared, “It just felt very me because that saree was thought and Ideated and done beautifully by Sabyasachi Mukherjee. But it was a lot of me. It was a garment that I felt most myself in. A special outfit can be worn for a special occasion more than once”. She further shared about how she felt attending the event.
Alia Bhatt who shared the award along with Kriti Sanon said, “I was enamored with the way the whole event was organized. It was a pinch-me moment. It was overwhelming in general to be there. Five seconds before, if I had to recall, it was a lovely moment that Kriti Sanon and I shared. She just looked back at me and said, “I just want to give you a hug”.
Alia Bhatt will soon be seen in Jigra which she is also co-producing along with Karan Johar and no further details about the movie are revealed.
