Ajith Kumar fans expressed concern over the actor’s health after a video of his car stunt went viral. His Manager, Suresh Chandra has released a statement giving an update.
Many fans on social media reacted to videos of actor Ajith shooting for Vidaa Muyarchi without a stunt double, in which his car flipped over.
After the videos raised concerns about the actor’s health, his publicist, Suresh Chandra, told the Times of India that the actor was unharmed and resumed shooting shortly after.
In one of the videos, Ajith drives a car with Arav strapped into the passenger seat. After a few moments, the automobile topples over, and the crew rushes toward them.
Ajith’s PR clarified the incident: “The team was shooting an action sequence on a highway in Azerbaijan. According to supposition, one of Ajith sir’s vehicle’s tyres may have deflated, resulting in the accident.

He stated, “Arav and Ajith sir went for a check-up and started shooting within three hours. “Neither of the two actors were injured.” The footage was taken in November of last year.
Lyca Productions posted the films on their X account, stating, “Bravery has no bounds! (Flexed biceps emoji) See Ajith Kumar’s courageous determination as he takes on a daring stunt sequence in #VidaaMuyarchi with no stunt double (saluting face and fire emojis).” Suresh Chandra shared the clips with the caption, “Vidaamuyarchi filming. November 2023.”
Vidaamuyarchi is helmed by Magizh Thirumeni and also stars Trisha Krishnan, Arjun Das and Regina Cassandra in the lead roles.
Kumar has been on a streak, collaborating on three consecutive films with H Vinoth, prior to which he teamed up for three back-to-back projects with Siva, who is currently working on Kanguva.
The film’s release date is yet to be revealed. The film’s post-theatrical digital rights have been acquired by Netflix.
Breaking the trend, Ajith allocated dates for Vignesh Sivan’s project, which unfortunately got shelved for reasons unknown.
