Adipurush following ‘Shaakunthalam’ footsteps?

South starlet Samantha’s ‘Shaakuntalam’ hit the screens on 14th April 2023. Initially, 3 days before the release of the movie, the makers have planned to organise previews for all the industry people. But as the negative talk came out from the first day itself, producer Dil Raju has canceled all the previews for the next 2 days and directly released the film on Friday.

We already knew that the movie ended up as the biggest disaster at the box office. Now, yet another movie was supposed to have pre-release released previews. It is none other than Young Rebel Star Prabhas starter ‘Adi Purush’. Directed by Om Raut, the makers have announced the release date of the movie as June 16th. Recently, the makers planned to organise previews of the film 3 days before the release.

We already knew that the teaser of the movie received so many backlashes and the movie unit had to postpone the release. Now, the trailer is getting good response. So, the makers have decided to release the film directly on June 16th because if the negative word comes out before the release it will definitely impact the opening day collections of the movie.
