Megastar Chiranjeevi’s next….
Megastar Chiranjeevi is now concentrating on his upcoming projects after Bhola Shankar misfired at the box office. The actor tested the waters bringing the regional blockbusters to the Telugu audience as remakes for which the actor had to face flops continuously.
While Rajinikanth, Balakrishna, Shivraj Kumar, and Kamal Haasan are continuing to elevate their name with their movies becoming blockbusters at theatres, Chiranjeevi chose alternatives which made him face disasters theatrically. However, now the actor is focusing on bouncing back.
Megastar Chiranjeevi signed a socio-fantasy film with Bimbisara director Vasishta. The director received appreciation and rose to fame overnight after his directorial debut Bimbisara turned out to be a hit in theatres.
The director of Mega157 as it is tentatively titled announced the start of preproduction works starting with a pooja ceremony. The director took to X along with Megastar Chiranjeevi, his producer, and DOP. He also thanked the actor for giving him a chance and shared the poster of the film on the actor’s birthday.
The makers are on the lookout for the female lead for this upcoming flick. The buzz is that they’re eyeing Anushka or Nayanthara. Nayanthara and Tamannah has already acted twice with the actor but Anushka never acted opposite the actor so they’re approaching Anushka for the role but none of the actress is finalized yet.
Megastar also has Mega156, another project yet to start, and is said to be the remake of Bro Daddy, a Malayalam flick starring Mohanlal and Prithviraj Sukumaran but the actor chose to complete Mega157 first.
