Venkatesh Daggubati reacted to Rana Naidu reception for the very first time after it’s release. During the interview held at Ahimsa, movie debut for Venky’s nephew and Rana’s brother Abhiram Daggubati to film industry, Venky talked about the OTT Series. When a journalist broached about Rana Naidu directing the question towards actor Venkatesh about the public not liking him in that role at the press meet, Actor responded saying “Netflix is happy with the response. We obviously tried something new.”
Talking about approach for the second season, he said it can be a change for second season with its own original content. Makers are seeing to alter it so they can browse in more audience. Venky also added that it is impossible to impress each and every audience all the time. He hinted about discussing about the series in detail coming days so didn’t dive into anything related to Rana Naidu.
Audience are unimpressed with Rana Naidu series on Netflix. It is Venkatesh Daggubati’s debut into OTT with this Netflix series. With history of Venky called as a family entertainer with all his previous films and sudden draft with Rana Naidu where actor uses cuss words and adulterated dialogues, it didn’t struck Telugu audience as it expected to be and received varied reactions which has also became a mini controversary.
