Shwetha Tripathi Sharma who plays the role of Parul Chaturvedi recently revealed who has the right to validate an individual.
Upon being asked how she got ready for Kalkoot, during the promotional shoot, the actress stated, “The character that I play of Parul Chaturvedi, there was one that was before the attack happened, we opted for the regular process my team put on more Kajal and blush as Parul was someone who enjoyed getting ready and the next one is after the attack. We used prosthetics it was really tough not because I had to sit down for 3 hours but emotionally and psychologically, because at the end of the day, I knew it was prosthetics. But the girls and guys who go through this, this will stay with you forever.” she further added, “She looked stunning even after the attack.”
The actress expressed it’s not the society and other individuals who have the right to validate you, rather the individual themself have to feel comfortable in their own skin. Shwetha added, ” Try different things, skin is really important, Kalkoot and Parul taught me after the attack not just the appearance but also how you talk and breathe might change, try makeup and looks but just because something is trending doesn’t mean you have to keep up with it.”, the series stars Vijay Varma and Shwetha in lead roles.
