Bollywood actress Bhumi Pednekar is mostly known for her portrayals of headstrong small-town women. She made her debut portraying a plus-sized woman and opened up about getting body shamed by trolls on social media and also praised her Thank You For Coming.
The Badhaai Do actress said that no matter what we do, people will troll and it has become so normal now. People still troll whatever we do even when the actress put up a full dress for the festival they still troll she claimed and called Shehnaz Gill brave for reading bad comments admitting she’d never even look at them.
Bhumi further talking about their movie stated that small-town women are still alienated from the term Orgasm and society doesn’t even want to have a discussion that’s close to this topic. The actress also shared that she doesn’t think most of the people haven’t experienced anything.
Bhumi further says how it is important for one’s mental health, for sanity, and for many things and still considers that not even many young girls don’t know that an orgasm is something that one would feel and is a psychological need.
Thank You For Coming starring Bhumi Pednekar, Kush Kapila, Shehnaz Gill, Dolly Singh, and Shibani Bedi is directed by Karan Boolani. The film is produced by Ekta Kapoor and Rhea Kapoor which will hit theatres from October 6.
