Akshay Kumar’s Mission Raniganj has neared its release and is all set to hit the theatres on 6th October 2023. The film Mission Raniganj revolves around Jaswant Singh Gill who has rescued 65 miners during a flood period.
The actor recently joined a virtual meet with IIT Dhanbad, where he took to state, “People like him are inspirational, when I worked on Padman the man the film was based on inspired me and so did Jaswant Singh Ji, he is such a great man and their stories are filled with life and learning and working on such films helps to tell stories of people like them who’s struggle inspires us to get better.” expressing his respect to late Jaswanth Singh Ji.
Akshay Kumar also shared that he got an opportunity to talk to Jaswanth Singh Ji around 3 years ago when he was alive and talking to him made him love his personality as he was one of the most humble people he has ever conversed with on the phone.
