During the interview, Adil Khan Durrani, Rakhi Sawant’s Ex-Husband was seen revealing various secrets regarding their relationship. Adil dismissed all the rumours about Rakhi, claiming he forced her to take up Islam as her religion.
Adil Khan Durrani and Rakhi Sawant got married on 29th May 2022; the couple hasn’t made it public because of Adil’s personal reasons. After claiming that Rakhi had cheated on him, Adil also confessed that after he confronted Rakhi for having cheated on him, she abused him. “I feel ashamed to have to say this, but Rakhi used to hit me, she used to hit me, she used to make sure that she makes it a point to make a scene every time I went to talk to her,” stated Adil Khan.
He added, “I requested her to end this quietly, and that’s when she claimed her 1.3 crores back. During this argument, I asked her to tally all the assets, which cost around two crores, subtracting the amount I have, I asked her to pay back the remaining by taking some time.” having said the above, Adil mentioned they had a fight after that where she yelled at him, and the following day she wasn’t at home. He woke up to 100 missed calls from his family as she made their marriage public.
“I wanted some time to convince my family, which is why I didn’t tell them about my marriage, but after the news went viral, my family stopped talking to me, leaving me in tears. I never asked her to take Islam; she wanted to do it, wearing a burka, leaving the industry, declaring to learn Namaz all of them was her plan,” added Adil Khan.
