Thalapathy 68 Venkat Prabhu: This year’s Pongal festival starrer Vijay’s Varisu set a record by collecting crores of rupees. However, the film received negative reviews. Before Varisu, his film Beast was also under heavy criticism, and Vijay is giving full attention to his next film. He is currently acting in a film titled Leo directed by Lokesh Kanagaraj. Not only Tamil, but the entire film world is waiting to see if the pair, who became known as a successful duo with Master will perform the same magic again in Leo.
In that regard, now a new information has been on buzz. That means Thalapathy 68 is said to be directed by Venkat Prabhu and produced by AGS. It is also reported that Venkat Prabhu’s Asthana music composer Yuvan Shankar Raia will compose the music for this film. Even though the director for Thalapathy 68 is yet to be finalised, looks like Yuvan Shankar Raja might be the music composer for the film or more so the fans want the two to work together after almost two decades. Yuvan Shankar Raja had composed music for the Vijay’s ‘Pudhiya Geethai directed by KP Jagan in 2003 and it remains Vijay’s only collaboration with Yuvan till date.
The fans of both the stars are hoping that the two work together, especially after the success of Yuvan Shankar Raja’s music in STR’s ‘Maanaadu directed by Venkat Prabhu.
Earlier last year also, in a social media interaction with his fans, Yuvan Shankar Raja revealed the Vijay had inspired him a lot and he is always ready to work with him, when a fans asked him on whether he’ll work with Vijay in the future.
