Dhanush’s D50
The Kollywood film industry has been witnessing a ray of new-found talent, with many star kids making their debuts and doing so well that they almost touched the sky. Dhanush’s son, Yatra, is all set to foray into Kollywood. But the young talent has decided to enter the showbiz in an unconventional way.
According to the latest buzz, Yatra, son of Dhanush, would debut in ‘Rayaan,‘ a film directed by the legend, and was also taking on the mantle to act in it. The Asuran actor’s eldest son, Yatra, will also be making his debut as a cinematographer in Dhanush’s upcoming gangster drama Raayan.
A Cinematographic Debut
Although the young talent’s expertise in the field is yet to be ascertained, Yatra’s unique move to enter the industry has created quite a buzz among fans. Yatra, though introduced as an actor, had no interest in acting. Instead, he explored his passion for cinematography and entered cinematography through ‘Rayaan.’
The announcement, made through first-look posters of ‘Rayaan’ released by Dhanush, has caught the public’s and critics’ attention. Yatra’s choice to explore cinematography, a field that remains largely behind the scenes, speaks volumes about his desire to contribute to cinema uniquely and meaningfully.
Raayan, previously called D 50, marks the second directorial film of actor Dhanush and the 50th film in his acting career. ‘Rayaan’ is already creating waves in the industry for its star-studded lineage and the fresh perspective Yatra promises to bring as its cinematographer.
The movie is touted to be a gangster drama set against the backdrop of North Madras, with Dhanush rumoured to be playing the character of a cook who was formerly a gangster. The film also stars Selvaraghavan, SJ Suryah, Kalidas Jayaram, and Sundeep Kishan in pivotal roles. Kalidas and Sundeep are rumoured to be playing the roles of Dhanush’s brothers in the gangster drama.
When will Rayaan be released?
Dhanush Directorial has completed its shooting, and the dubbing sessions are underway. We can expect the film’s summer release in April if everything goes as planned.
