While initial reports suggested that Jayam Ravi and Dulquer Salmaan would reprise their roles in the film, recent developments indicate otherwise. A close source to Jayam Ravi revealed that he won’t be part of “ThugLife” due to his commitments to other projects slated for release in 2024. Despite this, the cast remains impressive, with names like Trisha, Joju George, and Gautham Karthik expected to join the ensemble.

The shooting schedule for “ThugLife” is set to kick off on April 20th in New Delhi, followed by locations in Jaisalmer and Chennai. The production team aims to wrap up filming within 2 to 3 months, promising a brisk schedule to bring the project to fruition. Additionally, plans are in place to resume shooting in Serbia once the elections are over, with the climax scenes featuring Kamal Haasan, Jayam Ravi, Dulquer Salmaan, and Trisha set to be filmed there.

Although he previously sported long hair for ‘STR 48’, there’s a possibility that his look might be altered for ‘Thug Life’. Filming for ‘STR 48’ is scheduled to commence only after the completion of ‘Thug Life‘. Directed by Desingh Periasamy and produced by Raaj Kamal Films International, ‘STR 48’ is said to be a period fantasy film featuring Silambarsan in dual roles.
