Bollywood actress and actual royalty, Sara Ali Khan is known for her down to earth almost “too-girl-next-door” personality. The actress has been caught with this middle class mentality quite a few times whether it was during her appearance on Koffee With Karan, when Janhvi Kapoor revealed how Sara cheaped out on hotels to save 6,000 rupees or
most recently how the actress refused to spend 3,000 rupees for a data roaming plan during her visit to Dubai. Sara is known to have openly admitted that she is “cheap” on numerous occasions, which initially came across as endearing but now netizens are accusing her of trying to hard to be relatable. Claiming that her whole personality is simply a PR stunt.
In her most recent Vogue cover interview the actress stated, “I don’t have a single pair of designer clothing in my wardrobe,” which became the caption for Vogues Instagram post regarding the same. Netizens were quick to call her out and pin-point her various appearances in designer clothing and bags.
This along with the actual cover photo is garnering a big “No” from genZ with comments like , “Scolds her mom for buying 1000 rupees towel n she carries 2 lakh rupees Gucci bag lol… don’t be fake miss sara diplomat” and “Why would you do this to her? The drape is a mess.”
