With KGF 1 & 2 and Kantara, the Sandalwood Film Industry is gaining attention. The movies from Kannada Industry were acclaimed all throughout India when movie fans saw them. The effect of those films is unfathomable.
Hombale Films, a production company, is the backbone for these results of Sandalwood films. The product label is now funding and creating massive-budget films with the best plots. After the films, Yash’s KGF-1, KGF-2 and Kantara, Prabhas Salaar is slated to release from the same production house.
The film was released on September 28, 2023. The film has a star-studded cast. Prabhas in a dual role and as the titular role, along with Prithviraj Sukumaran, Shruti Haasan, and Jagapathi Babu. Before this, Prabhas Adipurush was scheduled to release on June 16.
A buzz is making rounds in the film circles on Salaar that a noted leading distributor quoted 38 crores for the theatrical distribution rights for North America. If the number is true then the movie Salaar has to collect more than 10M $ to surpass the breakeven mark.
