Ranbir Kapoor is summoned by the ED for betting
The Bollywood star and Animal’s leading man Ranbir Kapoor is reported to have been summoned by the ED for online betting.
The Romantic boy turned action hero is under the action of the authorities as he promotes an online betting app. The Enforcement Directory quotes that around 112 crores were delivered by Hawala to an event management company and 42 crores in cash were used for the hotel charges.
Ranbir promotes an app owned by Mahadev Book App’s application which promotes online betting and the remuneration being paid via sources resulted in Ranbir being summoned by the ED for investigation. As many betting apps are banned in the nation and cash transactions for huge amounts are illegal Ranbir being a part of it led to this action by the authorities suggested by the sources. Ranbir is currently busy with his upcoming film promotions. Animal directed by Telugu director Sandeep Reddy Vanga stars Ranbir Kapoor, Rashmika Mandanna, and Anil Kapoor in the lead roles.
