In an interview during promotions, Dulquer said King Of Kotha has been one of his most challenging roles to date. Talking about the film, the actor said, “King Of Kotha has been an extraordinary journey. The rich characters, intricate story, and grand production scale set this film apart. Collaborating with Zee Studios for the first time adds to the excitement. It’s been an exhilarating journey for Wayfarer Films, Zee Studios, and me – a perfect Onam treat for my audience.”
King Of Kotha also stars Aishwarya Lekshmi as the female lead, Dancing Rose Shabeer, and Prasanna in pivotal roles, and is directed by Abhilash Joshy. DQ’s production house Wayfarer Films is jointly producing the film with Zee Studios.It’s a periodic Gangster action drama. King Of Kotha is slated to release theatrically in Pan-Indian languages on August 24.
