Rakul Preet Singh in Nitesh Tiwari’s Ramayana

According to a source close to the development, markers and Nitesh are in a discussion to cast Rakul Preet Singh in the role of Shurpanakha in the Ramayana. The source revealed, “Rakul and Nitesh Tiwari have been in talks for a while now, and the casting is now in place for Shurpanakha. It’s one of the most important characters of the Ramayana, as Shurpanakha is the one who is responsible for the rivalry between Lord Ram and Ravana.”
It is being said that Rakul has gone through the look test, and if everything works, the actor will be on board. This movie will be her first shoot after her marriage to Jackky Bhagnani. However, it will be a totally different experience for the actress, as it will be her first time in a negative role.
