Recent reports suggest that the film’s release has been delayed again due to the ongoing General Elections in India. Amid these developments, a fresh report indicates that the release date of Kalki 2898-AD will be announced tomorrow.
An event is reportedly being planned by the team of Kalki 2898-AD, scheduled for Sunday, April 21, which is expected to be on a grand scale. Although official details of the event are yet to be disclosed, sources close to the project suggest that the makers may unveil a new release date for the film during the event. Additionally, there are plans to offer audiences a fresh glimpse of the project, which could include a photo or video, or possibly both.
Prabhas New Film
In a poster revealed on March 8, the character played by Prabhas in Kalki 2898-AD was unveiled by the film’s team. Prabhas is depicted as Bhairava in the poster, described as hailing “from the future streets of Kasi.” The film, a grand sci-fi spectacle intertwined with mythology, is set in a futuristic backdrop and reportedly showcases Prabhas portraying a contemporary interpretation of Lord Vishnu.
During an event in Delhi in February, director Nag Ashwin shared intriguing insights into Kalki 2898-AD, highlighting Prabhas’ role in the upcoming pan-Indian science fiction film. Assuring audiences of an unparalleled visual experience, Ashwin expressed confidence that the epic saga will deliver a cinematic feast unlike any other.
