Nepal stops release of Adipurush – the controversy is intense

Nepal is India’s neighbouring country not just geographically, but also administratively. Nepal Government always follows policies that are used in India. They really are brothers, aren’t they? What caused Nepal to stop release of Adipurush then? Is there an underlying dispute that could be the cause? The fans have been wondering.

Sources claim that morning shows in Kathmandu have been ceased because of the dialogue in the movie – Janaki is the daughter of India. Mayor Balendra Shah has ordered for that line to be removed from the movie everywhere, which the fans are not happy with. The Mayor wants that line to be cut off not just in Nepal but in India, too.

Adipurush has turned out to be the widest release in India this year. It’s released in both 2D and 3D, and in five languages: Hindi, Telugu, Tamil, Malayalam, and Kannada. The film received a tremendous response via advanced booking and is expected to open at huge numbers.

Telugu movie Adipurush that is dubbed in various languages to send the message across the world. It is a cinematic representation of the famous Hindu mythology – Ramayana. Fans say that the script is not ‘manmade’ it is about widely worshipped Hindu Gods like Lord Ram and Lakshman and they’re raged to hear that Nepal wants such an important sentence to be removed. People all over the country are upset as their religious sentiments have been targeted.

This is a very critical controversy which needs to be handled carefully by the movie team. People from both the countries are eagerly waiting to hear a response from them. Will T-Series choose money or the religious sentiments of the fans?
