Haddi, starring Nawazuddin, is a movie produced by Raadhika Nanda and Sanjay Saha for Zed Studios and directed by Akshat Ajay Sharma. The movie is slated to hit theatres in July 2023. When the poster was unveiled, the makers made the same announcement.
Actors have pushed the envelope in the movies to hone their profession. When performing female characters, many Bollywood actors have given stirring performances. In this movie, Nawazuddin Siddiqui, who has dazzled the audience with his flawless performance, will be confronting his identity as a transgender person. In Haddi, he will portray a female character. Everyone was shocked when they first saw the actor since he is not recognizable. The talented actor Nawazuddin Siddiqui’s portrayal of a transgender person in Haddi has everyone buzzing.
Now while talking with the media Nawaz stated that” I have worked with many renowned female directors and that helped me a great deal. I realized that women look at the world differently, They are far more compassionate and they see beauty in everything. For most men, it’s often about power and control. That also reflects in our relationships. Men tend to be more territorial and unko adhikaar jatana hai, auraton par bhi. The female gaze is kinder and more sensitive. I am trying to get that point of view right.”
