Following her Telugu debut in Sita Ramam in 2022, Mrunal released the romance drama Hi Nanna the previous year. Nani starred in the movie, which elevated Mrunal to prominence due to her emotional performance, which was well-received. While the actor was last seen in the Telugu film Hi Nanna, speculation is rife that the actor will soon make her Tamil debut with two big projects, one of them being SK 23.
As per reports, Mrunal Thakur is one of the top names contending to play the female lead in the film. The news will mark her debut in the Tamil industry if it is true. It is also to be noted that rumours also float that the actor will also be part of STR 48, starring Silambarasan in the lead role.
This means the actor will mark her stamp in Tamil with two big projects. Meanwhile, the actor is also awaiting the release of Family Star in Telugu alongside Vijay Deverakonda. Meanwhile, SK23 is a maiden collaboration between Siva Karthikeya and AR Murugdoss.
Tentatively titled SK23 is an Out and Out Mass Entertainer with a Scope to perform. Mohanlal and Vidyut Jamwal have been approached for essential roles in the film. Shoot Begins Next month after the wrap of SK21.
