After so many celebrities talking about nepotism that is there in Bollywood. Recently, Sita Ramam, a famous actress, commented on nepotism. Mrunal highlighted where it was going wrong, said it was not Star Kid’s fault, and blamed the media for nepotism.
In the viral video where Mrunal Thakur is seen talking about nepotism. she says, “Let’s begin with media. For example, we don’t have Ananya and Janhvi, unfortunately. But I have to say something: it’s not their fault; they are star kids; it’s we, as common people, who are so intrigued to know what’s going on in their life.”
Mrunal also shared one event from the past where she felt nepotism exists. She recalled the night from the awards nights when she won the award just as the star kid, but the star kid got more attention. She shared that on the awards night, she was in the middle of the interview session. That day, she was awarded best actor-critic, just as Janvi was awarded that night, but when Janvi entered the place, all the media ran behind her before she completed her interview just because she was a star kid.
She further said, “I am not saying that I am jealous or something. I am saying that it’s not their fault. So stop pointing nepotism, nepotism. It also, what I feel, depends on the audience and the media especially,” and urged people to treat everyone equally and not be biased on one side.
