Director-actor Vineeth Sreenivasan has pulled off a hat-trick of casting coups. The Hridayam filmmaker will reportedly team up with his previous cast. Varshangalkku Shesham is already generating feverish anticipation due to the Hridayam team reunion, with its release slated for April 2024.
According to inside sources close to the development, Hridayam Filmmaker will reportedly team up with Mohanlal and Nivin Pauly for the upcoming film. In a recent interview, Nivin had confirmed that he was in discussion with Vineeth. The Premam star is also part of Varshangalkku Shesham, which has Pranav Mohanlal, Dhyan Sreenivasan, Basil Joseph and Kalyani Priyadarshan in pivotal roles.
According to rumours considering, filmmaker and actor Vineeth will be scripting Priyadarshan’s next. The actor and the veteran filmmaker teamed up for the first time in last year’s Corona Papers and had Vineeth in a cameo. At the same time, MG Sreekumar had confirmed a project in the pipeline, but we’re unclear whether both projects are the same.
In an earlier interview, Vineeth had told us that he had always wanted to do a movie with Mohanlal but couldn’t lock in a subject that he thought would warrant the acting talents of the Malaikottai Vaaliban superstar. Varshangalkku Shesham is currently under production, gearing up for release in April with several other big Malayalam movies, including Prithviraj Sukumaran’s Aadujeevitham and Fahadh Faasil’s Aavesham.
