Universal hero Kamal Haasan and Kollywood ace director Mani Ratnam surprised fans and the film fraternity with a buzz that they are set to reunite almost after many years for a new yet-untitled Tamil project.
After Ponniyin Selvan, Mani Ratnam is said to be in plans to do a big project with Kamal Haasan. Interestingly, Trisha’s name is consider for the heroine who already has two films with Kamal, and it’s the third movie of this combo.
Both Mani Ratnam and Kamal Haasan are basking in the massive success of their latest releases, Ponniyin Selvan I and Vikram, respectively. Both films rank among the biggestPonniyin blockbusters in Tamil cinema history ever.
Kamal Haasan is currently shooting for Shankar’s Indian 2. Kamal Haasan and Mani Ratnam had last worked together in the critically-acclaimed Nayakan, released in 1987.
