Tollywood superstar Mahesh Babu is currently on a break after basking in commercial success with Trivikram’s directorial Guntur Kaaram. Fans of the actor are most anticipating his next project, which is his first time joining hands with acclaimed director SS Rajamouli.
Reportedly, Mahesh Babu has not received payment for his upcoming movie, which is tentatively titled SSMB29. The Guntur Kaaram actor, who typically commands a fee of around 45-70 crores considering the plot, had a profit-sharing arrangement with the director.
It can be financially rewarding for both parties as the actor is committing almost three years of his time to this upcoming anticipated project. According to sources, Mahesh Babu’s character in SS Rajamouli’s upcoming film draws inspiration from Lord Hanuman.
Writer Vijayendra Prasad, who crafted the story, recently said that the movie will feature Hollywood actors in an action-adventure set in Africa. Pre-production works for the movie have already begun in Hyderabad.
