There have been rumors circulating that Rocking Star Yash, who achieved huge success with KGF 2, is being approached by Madhu Mantena and Nitesh Tiwari, the filmmakers behind the hit movie “Dangal,” to play the role of Raavan in their upcoming adaptation of the Hindu epic “Ramayana.”
It is rumored that Ranbir Kapoor has been selected to play the role of Ram. According to sources, Yash is said to be intrigued by the pre-visualization of the film and is in talks with the team. He is expected to make a decision on his next project in the next couple of months.
Fans are divided on this potential casting, as some feel that Yash has a more massive appeal than Ranbir, and playing a villain may not be the best choice for him at this stage of his career. However, until there is an official announcement, this remains only speculation.
Earlier, Mahesh Babu was considered to be a part of the film, playing the role of Ram. But, there seems to be a change in the plan. More details are awaited.
