The amount of times ‘Kangana Ranaut‘ and ‘troll’ have been used in the same sentence is unhealthy. Remembered for her exotic looks from Krrish 3 besides Hrithik Roshan, it’s inevitable with movies like Tanu Weds Manu, Queen, and Rangoon, she’s a phenomenal actor, whether or not she receives positive response off-screen. Her song ‘Ghani Bawri’ is the biggest evidence of this statement. But, it’s also a fact that people can drastically differ in their professional and personal lives, just like Kangana. In a rational sense, she has never ‘trolled’ anyone per se, she’s just been straightforward and curt in the way she delivers fact, which makes the prey to ‘trolls’, something Indians excel at.
This time, too, our keyboard warriors nitpicked another incident from Kangana Ranaut’s upcoming movie Tiku Weds Sheru. Knowingly, she’s also the production house of the project. Amazon Prime’s latest update on the movie is a clip where Nawazuddin Siddiqui is introducing himself as a Bollywood actor named Sheru who was worked with famous actors like SRK, Salman, and Aamir.
Then comes the interesting mention of ‘Hrithik Roshan’, “My name is Sheru and people lovingly call me… Sheru only. I’m a Bollywood actor. I’m a big film producer of all types of movies, small and big. See, Shah Rukh, Salman, Aamir… Hrithik wasn’t available so that’s why he’s not here.”
Netizens are now horse-riding trolls, saying Kangana purposely demanded a mention of Hrithik in the dialogue and approved the same, as she’s the producer.
Tiku Weds Sheru is releasing on OTT Amazon Prime tomorrow, giving Avneet Kaur – a child actress – her first debut at 21.
