“Sweet Home” one of the top shows in Korea is a horror apocalyptic, post-apocalyptic Korean drama that is based on a webtoon titled Sweet Home. The webtoon became the top-read webcomic after its release. The drama features, Song Kang, Lee Do Hyun, Lee Eun Hyuk, Chan Hyun Soo, Lee Eun Soo, Yoon Ji Soo, Go Min Si, and Kim Sung Cheol in the leading roles. The drama was in talks for its sequel which was supposed to release this summer.
“Sweet Home Part 2” is reported to have revised its cast, and Lee Do Hyun is reported to be out of the show, which hurt the fans immensely.
The show was previously reported to release in March but due to various the show failed to make it to OTT. Song Kang’s manager also previously released a few pictures from the sets to keep the fans updated.
A few reports suggest that the drama will soon be released on an OTT platform. The cast of the drama was recently glimpsed enjoying their wrap-up party. The show first aired on Netflix and was later termed as a Netflix original. A few rumors have been doing rounds on the internet suggesting that Sweet Home Season 2 might not release on Netflix, whether Netflix will bag the show or not is yet to be clarified by the team.
