Aashiqui earned the title of A-listed content, post Aashiqui 2 starring Aditya Roy Kapur and Shraddha Kapoor, which was a super hit and has recently been renewed for the sequel. The film has been in the buzz for not having cast popular leads but reports suggest that the casting has not been finalized yet.
Now the buzz has it that Ramesh Behl the director of Baseera has sued T-Series, Bhushan Kumar, sources suggest Ramesh Behl has sent a legal notice to T-Series Delhi and Mumbai offices for trying to use the story of Baseera for the Aashiqui 3 sequel titled Tu Aashiqui Hain. The film stars Kartik Aaryan, while Triptii Dimri and Arjun Panchal are reported to join the cast of Tu Aashiqui Hain.
The film and its team are reportedly in trouble and neither parties has responded on this matter yet.
