Sunny Deol, Ameesha Patel and Utkarsh Sharma’s Gadar 2 is still shining bright at the box office, and today, it successfully beats one of the greatest movies of all time, SRK’s Pathaan. Noteably, the movie competed beside several potentially pieced movies like OMG 2 and Jailer, and yet, it held it’s stance and entered the 500 crores club. Take a look:
After Sunny Deol‘s return with Gadar 2, people wish to see more of him. Sunny is also in demand for sequels of Border and Apne which if things go as planned announcement is around the corner. “However, Border is being planned as the biggest War film of Indian Cinema; hence, it is still some time before taking it on floors. Once on paper, it would take at least a year’s prep to take the film on floors. Sunny has shown all the excitement to feature in Border 2, but, has been discussing his financials with the stakeholders. He will sign the dotted lines on getting the deserving remuneration/share to carry the franchise forward.
Gadar 2 is the continuation of Gadar: Ek Prem Katha, primarily focusing on the father-son duo as Tara Singh travels back to Lahore to get his son Charanjeet Singh from the shackles of the cruel Pakistanis. Since its release on August 11th, 2023, the movie has kept the audience gripped.
