Gadar 2 shelf life at the box office made a history for itself. After crossing the 500 crores mark in just half the time, the Gadar 2 team has decided to bring an attractive ticket discount for fans to watch and re-watch the movie in theatres.
Zee Studio along with Sunny Deol made an announcement about Gadar 2’s theatre tickets retailing at just Rs. 150 nationwide, no matter which show, multiplex or city! Take a look:
After Gadar: Ek Prem Katha was a massive hit in 2001, the team was ambitious about making another instalment carry forward the legacy too, and it undoubtedly did. While Gadar focuses on the love between Tara Singh and Sakeena amid the Indo-Pak partition devastation, Gadar 2 is about the love between a father and a son that doesn’t wither away even from kilometers away, across two countries.
This tale is about Tara Singh’s son, Charanjeet being trapped in the reckless hands of the Pakistanis and when the fearless father learns that, he rushes to his enemy country to bring back his son.
Sunny Deol’s undying patriotic spirit in the first instalment was the dragging factor 21 years ago and today too, his energy remains unmatched as Tara Singh.
