The Tamil Nadu Producers Council is a collective body of the Kollywood film industry. It consults with other organizations on solutions to socio-political problems arising in the film industry. According to the latest media reports, five Kollywood actors – Simbu, Vishal, SJ Surya, Yogi Babu, and Atharvala are rumored to have been issued a red card by the producer’s council.
It is reported that the stars have been issued a red card for not cooperating properly with the producers. Reportedly, the five stars are said to have received early advances from the film’s producers for the new project, but they refused to finalize the dates for the shoot.
Apparently, a decision has been taken in the general meeting of the producers’ council to impose punishment for their mistake. But the decision is believed to be a rumor as there is no official confirmation about it.
This is not the first time that Simbu has received a red card from the producers’ council. Because he has been in disputes with the producers for some years. He is constantly on the red card list. Shimbu currently has signed up for his next film STR 48. It will be directed by Deshing Periasamy. Meanwhile, Vishal-SJ Suryaj’s film ‘Marc Antony’ directed by Achich Ravichander is getting ready for release.
