Dunki v/s Jawan
Jawan is still ruling the theatres and after entering the 1000cr club a few days ago, the Jawan crew is eager to celebrate its upcoming milestone. While the impressive stance of Jawan is still lingering in theatres, fans are already marching forward towards Dunki, SRK’s upcoming movie.
When Dunki’s title announcement video had dropped a year ago, people were thrilled to see Shah Rukh Khan in another movie. But, SRK is here with an upsetting news. After Jawan’s explosion was widespread, he revealed that Dunki may not be as great as Jawan in terms of action sequence.
The superstar, who did a quick interaction on his Twitter #AskSrk, was asked if the fans could expect some action like Jawan in Dunki, to which the superstar replied and said,” Dunki is all funny and emotional. It’s Raju sirs world, mere bhai. Thoda sa action maine daal diya hai. Pata nahi sir rakhein na rakhein… woh editor bhi hain na!” (I have put in some action. I don’t know if sir will keep it or not.. he’s also the editor!!)
Dunki is prominently a comedy movie where the rampant use of an illegal backdoor route called ‘Donkey Flight’ by Indians to immigrate to countries like Canada and USA. Featuring SRK, Rajkumar Hirani, Taapsee Pannu, Vicky Kaushal, Satish Shah, Boman Irani, Dia Mirza and others, the movie will make you roll on the floor on December 22nd, 2023.
